Swing Smoother. Feel Stronger. Play Longer.
A 12-Week Golf Health & Performance Program led by TPI-Certified Physical Therapists.
This isn’t traditional physical therapy and it’s not just a few golf workouts you could get on YouTube. It’s physio-guided performance coaching designed to reduce pain, restore mobility, and unlock more efficient, powerful golf swings.
By application only. Limited spots available.
Who This Program Is For
This program is designed for golfers who:
Love the game and plan to play for decades
Feel stiff, restricted, or sore by the time they get to the back 9
Are losing distance or consistency
Want more rotation and smoother tempo
Are tired of “quick fixes” and want real, lasting results
If that’s you, this program was built with you in mind.
What Makes This Different
Most golfers are told to “stretch more” or rest when pain shows up. We take a different approach.
At Direct Orthopedic Therapy, we look at how your body moves, how that movement affects your swing, and where limitations are stealing power or setting you up for injury.
This program bridges physical therapy and performance training, guided by Doctors of Physical Therapy and strength coaches who love the game as much as you do.
What Is TPI & Why Does It Matter?
The Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) is the world’s leading education system focused on the connection between how your body moves and how you swing the club.
After studying thousands of golfers, from weekend players to Tour professionals, TPI developed a proven system that shows how physical limitations in mobility, stability, or strength directly affect swing mechanics, power, consistency, and injury risk.
TPI calls this the Body-Swing Connection™.
A TPI-Certified Physical Therapist is specially trained to:
- Assess golf-specific movement patterns
- Identify mobility restrictions and weak links impacting the swing
- Determine what your body can and cannot do
- Build a personalized plan to improve performance while also reducing injury risk
TPI certification is widely recognized in golf performance and sports medicine. Very few physical therapists pursue this advanced specialization, which is why golfers across all levels seek out TPI-certified providers when they’re serious about improving their game.
Because your swing isn’t the problem. Your body is.
If the body cannot move well, compensations and swing mechanics follow. That’s what this program fixes.
“Most amateur golfers that struggle with their swings, it’s not because they lack coordination — it’s because their bodies physically can’t move the way you’re supposed to to hit a golf ball.”
Scottie Scheffler

The 12-Week Golf Health & Performance Program
This program is built around how the body actually adapts. Not quick fixes or random workouts. Over 12 weeks, we combine golf-specific physical therapy, movement training, and performance coaching to restore how your body moves so your swing becomes smoother, stronger, and more efficient.
12 weeks of individualized mobility, corrective exercises, and golf fitness programming
Monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly in-person treatment sessions, depending on your needs
Remote coaching + structured accountability
Ongoing monitoring and progression by your Physio-Coach Team
The program is customized and progresses so it evolves as you do, aligning with how the body actually adapts physiologically. Regular coaching, communication, and support allow us to adapt in real time and create real, measurable change.
Core Program Pillars
Real results don’t come from doing more of what is currently causing you pain. They come from doing the right things, consistently and long enough to get the result you’re looking for. Our program is built on three core pillars that address pain, performance, and longevity while keeping you accountable every step of the way.
1. Physio-Guided Golf Rehab & Performance
This is where rehab and performance meet your swing. Your program is built around:
- Hip rotation for a fuller backswing
- Thoracic mobility for cleaner rotation
- Core control for better sequencing
- Shoulder health for speed and consistency
No generic workouts.
No cookie-cutter rehab.
Everything has golf-specific intent.
2. Science-Backed Coaching & Accountability
Consistency is the difference between good intentions and real results. Through our coaching app, you’ll receive:
- Prescribed exercise programs with video demos
- Daily check-ins to track how your body is responding
- Activity and adherence tracking
- Direct messaging access to your Physio-Coach Team
This allows us to:
- Adjust your program in real time
- Catch issues early
- Keep you accountable so progress doesn’t stall
You’re never guessing what to do next—we guide the process.
3. Wellness, Recovery & Longevity Support
You don’t over train, you under recover. The golf swing is rotational stress repeated hundreds of times. Recovery determines whether you stay loose or slowly break down. As part of your program, you’ll have access to advanced recovery modalities that may include:
- Compression therapy
- BEMER PEMF mats
- Kinesio taping
- Dry needling
- Other recovery tools as appropriate
These services help reduce soreness, improve recovery, and support long-term performance.
Golf-Specific Benefits You Can Expect
When your body moves the way it’s supposed to, there is less resistance, and your swing changes. This program is designed to improve how you feel during and after golf while unlocking better power, efficiency, and confidence on the course (and off).
- Easier rotation in the backswing
- Better separation between hips and shoulders
- Less fatigue late in rounds
- More consistent ball striking
- Faster swing speed without swinging harder
- Less stiffness the next day
This program isn’t just about getting you back—it’s about helping you play better than before.
